The Wealth and Asset Management Concentration, newly open to all BBA students admitted from AY 2025/26, is designed to address the growing demand for talent in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area’s dynamic financial sector. This concentration blends core business knowledge with specialized training in wealth management, asset allocation, family office operations, and sustainable investing.

This concentration can be claimed as either a 1st or 2nd concentration, applicable to the students who were admitted to the First-Year Studies of BBA Programme in the AY2025/26 onwards. 

  • Emphasizes the seamless integration of practical experience with theoretical learning, developed in collaboration with industry advisors.
 
  • Provides students with opportunities for internships, industry projects, and mentorship programs with leading wealth managers, family offices, and private banks.
 
  • Features adjunct professors and industry experts who co-teach courses and provide professional insights.
 
  • Equips students to pursue industry certifications, such as the EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), enhancing their credentials.
 
  • Incorporates ethics, sustainability, and ESG factors into the curriculum, with a strong focus on responsible investing and regional specialization in the Greater Bay Area and Asia-Pacific wealth markets.

  • Due to the overlapping of a core course, students who have declared Finance Concentration as their 1st concentration will have to make up an additional course from the elective list, if they intend to pursue WEAM as a 2nd concentration.
