By spending a semester, or even a full academic year, in an overseas university, students immerse themselves in a foreign culture and a transformational experience inspiring them to live, learn and unleash their potential in a new environment. Summer exchange programmes are also available for students who wish to get a taste of this unique educational opportunity.

The closing date for Student Exchange Programme application AY2025/26 is 15 November 2024. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted to International Office (IO) via BUniPort by the application deadline. For details of the application procedure, please visit the IO website here.

The Summer Exchange Programmes allow students to gain international exposure through a short summer experience. Students will have the opportunity to explore the business environments of different countries and participate in various cultural activities. Applications for transfer of units will be subject to the course content and contact hours.

Students who have completed the exchange programme are allowed to transfer credits obtained at the host institution. The School has an approved set of guidelines governing the transfer of credits you earn at the overseas institution. Please read these guidelines at BU Moodle carefully and consult your Concentration Coordinators when planning for exchange.
