School of Business BBA students and Lecturer Shine at Accounting & Business Knowledge Competition

A team of our four students, LIU Ting (Year 3, BBA Economics and Data Analytics), SONG Yuhan (Year 2, BBA Accounting), LIU Fenfen (Year 4, BBA Accounting) and LEE Ngai (Year 4, BBA Accounting), was crowned Champion at the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Tertiary Institutes Accounting and Business Knowledge Competition. The team competed against eight tertiary institutions in the final contest and displayed exceptional innovation, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities to secure first place.

In addition, Mr. Anthony Cheng, Lecturer I of the Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance and the Coach of the winning team, has also won the Best Instructor Award in the Competition. “Our BBA students' accounting and business knowledge, along with their analytical and presentation skills have received great recognition. It also shows their awareness of the Hong Kong’s role in the Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative has been significantly enhanced. We look forward to fostering the interactions with other institutions in the Greater Bay Area.” He mentioned

Organised by the Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation and the Guangdong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Competition aims to enhance the learning interest of tertiary students in accounting and business knowledge in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to cultivate high-quality professionals with extensive business knowledge.
