The HKBU School of Business hosted the BBA Open Day for secondary school students on 23 October 2021. Over 800 students, parents and counsellors from local and overseas institutions were engaged through a range of online and offline activities on campus.
Themed “Find Your Spark”, the event aimed to provide an in-depth introduction for high school students and the public, emphasising the uniqueness of the BBA programme and the specialist concentrations, including accounting, economic and data analytics, entrepreneurship and business innovation, finance, human resources management, information systems and business intelligence, and marketing. Students were engaged through games specially designed by different concentrations, allowing them to gain a better understanding of the curriculum and prospects from current students and faculty members. An online session was also organised followed by a live chat.
Based on the feedback received, visitors were impressed by the smooth arrangements, thorough information and joyful experience obtained through the activities. They also reflected that the Open Day would help them make an informed decision for their future planning of undergraduate studies.
