HKBU BBA Welcomes Students Back on Campus

07 Oct, 2021
The HKBU School of Business welcomed over 1,000 undergraduate and postgraduate freshmen from 37 countries and regions to embark on their journey to becoming responsible business leaders. Online and face-to-face orientation sessions were organised throughout September to immerse students into the caring and creative atmosphere on campus as school life is gradually getting back to normal. At the BBA Students Welcome Day on 18 and 25 September 2021, where students enjoyed a series of team tasks with their peers, Mr. Ryan Man, BBA Programme Director, reiterated the importance of cultivating friendship and building networks during their university life. “As you are starting a new chapter in life, we hope you will leverage every opportunity to create a unique learning experience here, and live your undergraduate life to the fullest.” An online orientation for international postgraduate students was also hosted on 1 September 2021 for new comers to get to know their classmates, the university and the city. Alumni were invited to share with students their all-round HKBU experience to prepare students for what to expect in the coming year, from studying during a pandemic, how to work well with classmates from diverse backgrounds, to the support the School provided in the job-hunting process. The session turned out to be fruitful, engaging and fun. As the School celebrates its 65th anniversary this year, and the campus life is thriving again, more activities are on the way including a series of celebratory events.
