Bonjour! Hello France! We were honored to be invited by one of our Double Degree Programme partners-NEOMA Business School in France previously for a visit. Mr. Ryan Man, BBA Programme Director and Dr. Lucia Fung, BBA Programme Associate Director visited NEOMA Business School Campus in Paris and Rouen on 15 and 16 June. This visit provided a platform for universities around the world to exchange and explore ideas centered around “New Challenges for Student Mobility”, “Social Impact & Green Mobility”, “New Formats of International Experience” and “Digital Transformation in the World of Education”. It was also a fantastic occasion to stay up to date on the latest development of the international collaboration among business schools. We also took this opportunity to meet with a group of NBS students who will join HKBU BBA this September as double degree students. Look forward to meeting you on BU campus!

As the 2nd semester begins, and followed by the success in the last semester, the School of Business hosted another leadership training camp on 11 & 12 Feb 2023 at Mui Wo for the new recruits of student ambassadors. After the pandemic, we can finally hold the over-night camp! ✌🏻 From these two days, we got to make new friends, be inspired by peers, build up team spirit, acquire leadership skills, achieve team goals, and grow together🌱🪴🌳 Breakthrough takes time. It doesn’t matter how big or small the step is, as long as you take the first one🏃🏻🏃‍♀️ Our SAs are constantly encouraged to lead in events, to represent HKBU and the School in different occasions, and to grab every opportunity. Congratulations 🥳 Wing Lai (BBA Marketing Year 2) and Chloe Cheng (BBA Marketing Year 3) have been awarded 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 and 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 in Citi-HKCSS Community Intern Program (CIP) 2022 respectively. A Recognition Ceremony was held on 25 October to praise the achievements of interns 👩‍💼🧑‍💼 Very nicely done, Wing and Chloe! 💯 Reflecting on the knowledge learnt in the CIP, Wing realises “CIP allows BBA students to contribute their business skills and knowledge to non-profit organisations in real-life context.” While Chloe was trying to put herself into the elderly’s shoes, she expressed, “by communicating with elderly, I understand more about their needs.
